Acting Director of the Freshwater Programme. Responsibility for assessment of stocks and for research and development. Advisor to the Scottish Executive (SE) on freshwater and migratory fish issues. Particular interests include: feeding ecology of freshwater fishes; environmental issues in fisheries and aquaculture; and limnology.
