Group Leader: Population Biology. Ecology and population dynamics of marine fishes. Interests include: the integration of process-based studies of reproduction; recruitment; predation and fish movements into models of population structuring and dynamics. Particular applications include: the development of alternative measures of reproductive potential; assessing the utility of closed areas; habitat requirements; and effects of sandeel fisheries on predator-prey interactions.
